Shadows in the Night

Digging InThey are replacing the sewer lines on Main Street Ventura, largely at night to lessen disruption for merchants.  Here’s the plan:  they have signs posted to clear the streets at 6pm;  there is a little rumbling over the next hour or two, then sometime after nine pm (on the night shown) a bluster of workmen rush to the particular ground zero of work for that night and begin a scrapin’ and a moving.  On hand at all times I’m told is an archealogical expert and a representative of the Chumash nation.  Word is that some bits and pieces of relics have been found but not enough to stop work, yet.
